Bunoscionn Circus

Bethy initially began their circus journey in 2018 training at the Belfast Community Circus School (now renamed Circusful) where they learned aerial basics in silks, corde lisse and trapeze alongside juggling and other circus skills. During the lockdown of 2020 they began their contortion journey and traveled around Ireland and Scotland training at different aerial facilities. In 2022 Bethy moved to Valencia, Spain to continue their circus training at Creat, where they are studying; trampoline, acrobatics, acrodance, straps, cordelisse, silks, chinese pole and more.  

Throughout this time they have created and been part of a number of arts festivals including; Festival of fools, Pitch'd circus and street arts festival, Cork, Belfast Mela and Galway international arts festival. They have worked with a variety of performance companies including Premier Circus (Circusful), Sapphire Entertainment, MayWe events, fruit salad, Manos de Fuego and Circus250.
